when are you going to change ??

Today i went to a Government aided and to a Private school to pay Academic school fees for 2 different kids on behalf of VIDIYAL.

First i went to the private school earlier in the morning, when i entered there, the accountant told me to wait till the morning assembley/prayer for the kids to get over.I was in no mood to wait so i thought i will go to the other school which is nearby and pay the fees for another kid studying in there.

Eventhough i had experinced a delay of 2 hours earlier in the same school,I started from the private school with a strong belief that in government aided school there wouldnt be any delay because i did had yelled at them last time for holding people and making them wait for all stupid reasons.

The moment i landed in the government school i noticed that some generous foundation is donating books to the school kids.I still believed that its just the matter of paying the fees and i shouldnt take much time.

And to my dismay it wasn't what i was expecting, none of the office bearers were in the office. For all the questions that i put-forth, none was able to answer even if there was an answer it was "we need to ask the madam". The waiting saga continued till the Madam 'as people in the school call' or the headmistress' by role' arrived to the office after few hours.

I felt ridiculous standing in there, especially because of the Chennai's much own climate .. i was completely drenched in the sweat of my own. The moment the headmistress arrived, things started rolling fast. I was called in and the usual formalities happened. When i explained the purpose of my visit, she felt happy and we engaged in a serious conversation. In the mean time she was dictating her typist what need to be on the letter.

I was agitated with the mis management and expressed my furiousness to her for the wait that i went through to meet her. All she said is things happens and advised me to take things lightly.

I never was happy with the explanation, though i don't have a choice i expressed my discontent to her. Then the actual scene happened, she started playing the blame game and started complaining about the inabilities of the staff and the support from the government. Not to make a scene i quickly thanked for her hospitality and left the place.

Almost half a day was gone waiting for a letter, i wasn't happy with the experience. One thought eluded me seriously "people who have power aren't using it properly or they aren't aware of their powers" and are playing the blame game everywhere. when i was heading back from home i saw a poster "DMK's portrayal of Karunanithi's achievements especially for school and teachers".

All i can ask is "when are you going to change ?? "
